A VIEW INTO MY MORNING

Just thought I would share my morning with you.  I’m in a good mood this morning.  After all I woke up, I’m still alive and I have art work to do.  🙂

Missed two days in a row going to the gym.  But this morning I’m ready to go!   Outside it was 68 degrees and overcast.

ImageThis does not look like a morning shot!  And by the way, the skies have already cleared up.

I walk through the pool area to get to the gym.

ImageIt isn’t so cloudy this direction.

This is our gym.  I think we are very lucky to have this much equipment.  After all it is free to us.

ImageEvery time I go to the gym, I walk for a mile on the treadmill.  Have been keeping the distance the same, just increasing my speed and the incline on the machine.

ImageHere is some of the other machines.  I am just starting to use.  I just got released by my Dr. on the 18th of this month to do upper body work.  One of the tenants here, Alan, showed me how to use the machine in the center, so that is the one I have been using.  Today I tried the one on the right of that.  Not sure I am doing it right.  Hoping to run into Alan again some day so so he can show me more of the machines.  I guess I could go knock on his door and ask him.  Hmmm  We will see.

ImageThis is the bicycle.  I haven’t tried it yet.  I figure that is too much like the treadmill.

Then when I got home I made myself some breakfast.

I had hash-browns, celery, onion, canadian bacon, EggBeaters, with a little salsa on top, and oat-nut bread.  I also had cranberry juice to drink.

Hope you had a good morning!  And remember to smile  🙂

Love this! Jealous of your 68 degrees and your breakfast too. The gym, though, I have. But…um…never ever use. AND I pay for the Y in the building next door and..um…never use.
You’re inspiring me to figure out how to work in a work out. Once in awhile, at least

I started with a 15 min walk 5 times a week. Who cann’t find 15 min? Worked up to 30 min walk. By then my blood sugar was dropping and the Dr had to adjust (lower) my medication. I was walking 1 mile in 30 min. Now I walk 1 mile in 24 min. Just slowly easing the speed up. You can do it. I know it!
