2/29 Faces

I am trying hard to do different faces.  So that not all of my faces look just alike.  So they have more expression and character in them.  I’m not sure I can even do this, but I didn’t think I was capable of making an art journal or doing any face at all and I want to try.

So I tried again today.  I even changed the type of paper…just drawing paper instead of water color paper.  Don’t know what I thought the change in paper was going to do.  LOL  Then of all things I decided to use water colors.  I hadn’t even put gesso on the page.  I don’t really know anything about water colors except I like what other people do with them.  I was very unhappy with what it looked like.  Then I changed to colored pencils.  It helped some.  Not real happy with her because she looks too much like my other faces.  But I don’t have to like everything I do.  I think I just don’t like her because she didn’t turn out to be what was in my head.  Can’t hold that against her.   So here she is.

Love your Faces!! I would like to do this but not sure where its at? I also am building my inventory so I have something to sell “painting” wise! I need to support my hobby as much as I can myself, and who knows, maybe I will even get to pay a doctor bill or two! I also am trying to not commit to TOO much….but its hard like you said…I want to do EVERYTHING!! Waiting for the Next face! YGG!!

Thank you so much! Glad you liked my faces. If you want to join the 29 faces, I think this link will get you to the page where you can join the group and post your pictures.

If that doesn’t work for you, I have a button on my blog that might help.

Good luck with your selling your paintings. That is a big step and I hope you succeed.
      Sending hugs and smiles 🙂

She’s wonderful Shirley! I believe that when your faces start to have a similar look it means that you’re well on your way to having your own style! And that’s a good thing (I think) ;D I love that you’re doing 29 Faces ❤
