I know, this is my second post today and I might do a third (need to catch up). This is my Book of Mirrors (BOM) Lesson 8. I really enjoyed doing this one! Hope you like it.
This is the complete spread. For the background I collaged on text pages from a book and pages from a Dell Crossword Puzzle book from the 60’s. Then used some home sprays and craft paints to add the color.
I then sketched a queen on the page and finished her up with craft paint and colored pencils. Added some netting on her dress (I think this was given to me by Melody Hahn. If I am wrong, let me know so I can correct this) to add texture and glued on some crystals for her bling. I don’t know why, but I found her great fun to create!
Hope you can see the texture and bling here.
I made a crown for her out of craft paper, gold pen and more bling.
Cut some butterflies out of craft paper and glued them in place. Used some of my alphabet stickers to spell out my words “i’m the boss of me!”. Some shading and black around the edges of the page. And that is pretty much it.
Hope you enjoy creating yours as much as I did mine.
Remember to smile! 🙂
